What is the difference between cervical cancer bleeding and inflammation bleeding?

Cervical cancer and cervicitis are two common gynecological diseases, which may lead to vaginal bleeding. Cervical cancer is a malignant tumor, which causes bleeding mainly from tumor tissue, the color is generally darker. The bleeding caused by cervicitis is mostly caused by local blood vessel rupture or tissue damage, and the color is relatively lighter.

In addition to color, bleeding caused by cervical cancer may persist, while bleeding caused by inflammation usually resolves on its own after inflammation is controlled.
