Can cerebral vasospasm cause myocardial ischemia?

Empathy in care, excellence in medicine.
Cerebral vasospasm can cause myocardial ischemia.
Cerebral vasospasm refers to continuous and intense contraction of cerebral blood vessels, resulting in insufficient blood supply to brain tissue, resulting in neurological dysfunction. If cerebral vasospasm occurs only in a short period of time, it generally does not lead to myocardial ischemia. If cerebral vasospasm exists for a long time, it can cause insufficient blood supply to coronary arteries, resulting in myocardial ischemia.
Note that myocardial ischemia caused by cerebral vasospasm is different from myocardial ischemia caused by coronary artery disease itself, and its symptoms may be different. If myocardial ischemia symptoms, such as chest pain, shortness of breath and palpitations, etc., should be treated promptly.
