Vulvar lipoma generally does not disappear by itself.
Vulvar lipoma is a neoplastic lesion, not self-limiting, so it usually does not disappear by itself. If vulvar lipoma is small in size and has no obvious clinical symptoms, it can be temporarily untreated and only needs follow-up observation. If vulvar lipoma is large in size, causing inconvenience in walking, sexual difficulties and other symptoms, it can be removed by surgery. Generally, the prognosis is good and will not cause too much harm to health.
After surgery, patients should keep the vulva clean so as not to affect the healing of surgical incision, and go to the hospital regularly for reexamination.
