Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome is another name for AIDS, which is caused by infection with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). This virus can cause damage to immune function after entering the human body, reducing immunity and complicated with various infections, malignant tumors and other diseases, thus threatening life safety.

AIDS cannot be cured, but patients actively seek medical treatment for systematic treatment can inhibit virus replication, delay disease progression, thereby prolonging survival and improving quality of life.
