How to measure pupil height by dot pupil method

To measure pupil height, the pupil method can be divided into the following steps: 1. The patient and the optometrist should sit face to face, keep an arm's distance, and ensure that both eyes are at the same height. 2. At the beginning, the patient's right eye should be touched first. The optometrist should hold the pen lamp in his left hand and place it next to his left ear to find the reflection point on the cornea of the patient's right eye. At the same time, the optometrist should hold the pen in his right hand. The optometrist's right eye should be closed during the pupil height process. When the reflection point is found, the optometrist should make a pupil mark with the pen on the support plate of the frame against the reflection point of the patient's right eye pupil. After that, measure the patient's left eye using the same method.3.
