Which acupuncture point does stomachache massage

Stomach pain can be massaged at Zhongwan, Zusanli and other acupoints.

1. Zhongwan

is located in the upper abdomen, on the front median line, 4 inches above the umbilicus. Massaging Zhongwan can regulate gastrointestinal function and relieve stomach pain symptoms. Pressing this point with fingers can play a role in harmonizing stomach, invigorating spleen, lowering adverse flow and promoting water retention.

2. Zusanli

is located on the anterolateral side of the calf, 3 inches below the calf nose, and a horizontal finger (middle finger) from the front edge of the tibia. Zusanli is a strong and healthy point. Massaging this point has a certain effect on stomach pain. Stimulating Zusanli by pressing or moxibustion can play the effect of drying spleen and generating stomach qi.

It should be noted that although massage points may help stomach pain, it cannot replace regular medical treatment.
