What is Bladder Division?

Restoring health, restoring hope.
The bladder is divided into four parts: tip, body, bottom and neck.
1. The tip of the bladder is
connected to the upper part of the pubic symphysis by the median umbilical ligament. It can be oval when the bladder is full.
2. The bladder body
is located between the tip and the bottom of the bladder. When there is no urine in the bladder, the bladder will expand and the wall of the body will gradually expand.
3. The bladder
bottom is the uppermost part of the bladder. When the bladder is full, it will expand.
4. The bladder
neckis called the neck. There is a muscle ring near the neck called the bladder neck sphincter. It is an important physiological sphincter that controls the discharge of urine. When the bladder is full of urine, the bladder neck sphincter relaxes and allows urine to pass through the urethra. When the bladder does not need to urinate, the bladder neck sphincter will contract and prevent the outflow of urine.
