A small pimple grows in the eye, most commonly seen in chalazion, also known as meibomian cyst; it is an idiopathic, chronic, non-suppurative inflammation of the meibomian gland, due to the accumulation of lipid substances in Zeis gland and meibomian gland, squeezing adjacent tissues and causing chronic granulomatous inflammation. There is normally a tissue fibrous cyst, which is generally not red and painful. The effect of drug treatment and physical therapy is not accurate. Therefore, it is recommended to perform surgery, surgical incision in the conjunctiva, and eyelid edge perpendicular, so prevent too much damage to the meibomian gland. Postoperative antibiotic eye drops should be given to prevent infection, anti-inflammatory treatment.
