What causes chyluria?

Restoring health, restoring hope.
Chyluria is mainly considered to be related to filariasis, surgery, malignant tumors and other causes.
1. Filariasis
filariasis can reproduce and metabolize in large quantities in the lymphatic system after invading the human body. Its metabolites will destroy lymphatic channels such as thoracic ducts and chylous cisterna, resulting in blocked chylous fluid return. Chylous fluid will enter the kidney collection system and cause chyluria.
2. After surgery on the
chest and abdomen, lymphatic vessels can be damaged, resulting in blocked chylous fluid return. Chylous fluid reflux to the kidneys, resulting in chyluria.
3. Malignant tumors are
advanced. When cancer cells extensively invade the retropleural lymphatic system, lymphatic vessels can also be blocked, and chylous fluid return is blocked, resulting in chyluria.
