What causes painless hematuria?

Painless hematuria may be related to factors such as urinary system tumors, kidney diseases and systemic diseases.

1. Urinary system tumors

When malignant tumors exist in urinary tract, ureter or bladder, due to tumor invasion of blood vessels or necrosis, hematuria may occur, and there is usually no obvious symptom in the early stage of the disease.

2. Kidney diseases

When nephritis, renal syndrome and other diseases exist, due to the destruction of glomerular basement membrane, painless hematuria may be caused.

3. Systemic diseases

Allergic purpura, systemic lupus erythematosus and systemic vasculitis and other diseases, due to abnormal coagulation function, can also lead to painless hematuria.
