Treatment of decompensated cirrhosis

Decompensated cirrhosis represents a more severe stage of the disease, and liver transplantation is the most effective method. If liver transplantation cannot be immediately adopted, splenectomy can be performed, and hepatoprotective drugs and antiviral drugs should be used. For refractory ascites, jugular shunt can be performed.
