Restoring health, restoring hope.
Allergic conjunctivitis, mainly refers to allergic conjunctivitis, including allergic conjunctivitis, vesicular keratoconjunctivitis, autoimmune conjunctivitis and giant papillary conjunctivitis. This kind of disease is normally caused by the allergic reaction of eye tissue to allergens. It is mainly divided into immediate type and delayed type. The immediate allergens mainly include pollen, corneal contact lenses and their cleaning solutions. Drugs generally cause delayed onset, such as cycloplegic and aminoglycoside drugs, antiviral drugs, etc. This symptom is generally manifested as itching of the eyes, eyelid edema, conjunctival congestion and edema. For the treatment of this disease, it is recommended to give local cold compress and use glucocorticoid eye drops to control local inflammation. If accompanied by systemic symptoms, antiallergic drugs can also be used systemically.
