What is a circle of redness around the urethral orifice

Healing hearts, one patient at a time.
A circle of redness around the urethral meatus is usually caused by lack of attention to hygiene, allergies, urethritis and other reasons. The analysis is as follows:
1. If the
patient does not pay attention to personal urethral meatus hygiene at ordinary times, he does not wipe the residual urine in time after urination, and the urine will cause irritation to local tissues, resulting in a circle of redness around the urethral meatus.
2. Allergy
If the patient recently comes into contact with allergens around the urethral meatus, causing allergic reactions to the skin around the urethral meatus, it will show a circle of redness at the urethral meatus, and it will be accompanied by itching.
3. Urethritis
If the patient has urethritis, inflammation stimulates the urethral mucosa to secrete a large number of inflammatory substances. When inflammatory substances flow out of the urethra, they will stimulate the urethral meatus site, causing a circle of redness at the urethral meatus.
