How to choose a treatment for myopia

The main method to correct myopia is to wear glasses, of which frame glasses are safer. Contact lenses are divided into hard lenses and soft lenses. Adult patients can wear soft contact lenses. However, children are not encouraged to wear contact lenses because they may cause keratitis, conjunctivitis and other complications. Patients over the age of eight with myopia below 600 degrees can choose to wear orthokeratology lenses. After the age of 18, when the myopia degree is stable, surgery can be used to remove the glasses.
