Symptoms of Pulmonary Fungal Infection

Symptoms of fungal lung infection include fever, cough, expectoration, hemoptysis, and chest pain. In severe cases, breathing difficulties or hypoxemia may occur. On auscultation, wet lung rales and pleural friction sounds may be heard. On chest radiographs and chest CT scans, high-density nodules under the pleura may be seen.
