Cataract is a common disease in ophthalmology, and it is the most common blinding eye disease in China at present. The principle of its formation is that lens fibrosis is caused by aging factors, trauma stimulation, long-term use of hormone drugs, chronic inflammation stimulation of tears, systemic metabolic diseases, such as diabetes mellitus and long-term exposure to toxic substances or radioactive substances. The lens shows turbid plaques and transparency decreases. Therefore, it prevents the normal refraction of external light through the lens to focus on the retina, causing the projection on the retina to become blurred, resulting in decreased vision. Normally, surgery is required to replace the turbid lens with a transparent intraocular lens to restore vision.
