There are two main factors in rhegmatogenous retinal detachment, the formation of retinal tears and the traction of vitreous body. There are many reasons for the formation of retinal tears, such as retinal tears caused by retinal degeneration in high myopia, traction holes caused by vitreous traction, retinal tears caused by blunt trauma or ciliary body detachment. When the retinal hole is shown, the vitreous body pulls the hole to make the liquefied vitreous fluid enter the retina, causing retinal detachment; rhegmatogenous retinal detachment is mainly due to the retinal hole, and the pulling effect of the vitreous body, so that the subvitreous fluid enters the retina, thus causing the retinal bulge and delamination.
