Does turbinate hypertrophy need surgery?

Turbinate hypertrophy can cause breathing difficulties, nasal obstruction and other symptoms. If it is allergic rhinitis caused by turbinate hypertrophy, or chronic hypertrophic rhinitis, you can use drugs for treatment; if it is bony turbinate hypertrophy, in the case of poor drug treatment, surgery can be performed.
