What does broad bean disease mean?

Broad bean disease refers to the lack of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase blood disease, mainly because of eating broad bean caused by acute hemolytic anemia; occurs in children under 3 years old, usually accompanied by fatigue, fear of cold, weakness, fever, dizziness, headache, decreased appetite, nausea and vomiting and other symptoms.
