How to judge true myopia or pseudomyopia

Myopia refers to a refractive state in which parallel light from the outside world passes through the refractive system of the eyeball before focusing on the retina. The adjustment of the eye is caused by the contraction of the ciliary muscle. Therefore, the method to determine true myopia or pseudomyopia is to use cycloplegic to point the eye, so that the ciliary muscle is completely relaxed, and the pseudomyopia caused by the contraction of the ciliary muscle is removed. That is to say, after just using cycloplegia, the degree obtained by refraction is the degree of true myopia, and the degree reduced because of cycloplegia is the degree of pseudomyopia.
