What is the difference between bacteremia and sepsis?

Bacteremia and septicemia are different. Bacteremia refers to the inflammatory reaction caused by bacteria invading the blood and reproducing. Generally, there is no toxic reaction. Septicemia bacterial infection produces toxins and flows into various organs and tissues along with blood circulation.
