Can lung markings increase and recover?

Increased lung markings are seen in inflammatory diseases of the lungs, such as pneumonia. Patients can be cured with active use of antibiotics, cough and phlegm, and antipyretic drugs. However, sometimes with lung abscesses, increased lung markings are also seen, and this disease is less likely to be cured.
