Why glucose tolerance test?

Glucose tolerance test, also known as glucose tolerance test, is a prenatal examination that pregnant women must perform. It can clearly know whether the pregnant woman's blood sugar is elevated and whether it is gestational diabetes. This test can be carried out at about 24 weeks of pregnancy. Normal values for the test are fasting blood sugar less than 5.1mmol/L, blood sugar less than 10mmol/L one hour after meals, and blood sugar less than 8.5mmol/L two hours after meals.
