Ectopic pregnancy may be caused by the migration of fertilized eggs, uterine fibroids and defects in embryos. Symptoms of abdominal pain, irregular vaginal bleeding and menopause may occur. If ectopic pregnancy occurs, symptoms of shock may occur.
