Follow-up treatment of renal clear cell carcinoma

Restoring health, restoring hope.
After surgery, patients with clear cell renal cancer can receive adjuvant chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted therapy, etc.
1. Adjuvant chemotherapy
For high-risk patients, such as lymph node metastasis, gross residual tumor, positive margin, etc., adjuvant chemotherapy can be considered to reduce the risk of recurrence. Commonly used chemotherapy drugs include cisplatin, paclitaxel, vincristine, etc.
2. Radiotherapy
surgery can not completely clear the tumor, patients with positive margin can also consider radiotherapy to kill residual cancer cells, reduce tumor volume, alleviate symptoms.
3. Targeted
therapy for patients with specific gene mutations can be considered to inhibit tumor growth and prolong survival. Commonly used targeted drugs include bevacizumab, sunitinib, lenvatinib, etc.
