Which one hurts when you pull out the catheter or the drain?

Healing with compassion, caring with dedication.
The most common drainage tubes in urology are nephrostomy tubes and abdominal drainage tubes. However, a small number of patients will show severe pain when pulling out the catheter, which is more common in urethral injuries. Patients with urethral injuries will be inserted into the catheter to prevent urethral stricture and shape the urethra. When the condition recovers, when the urinary catheter is to be removed, the patient will feel pain. Generally, before pulling out the urinary catheter or the drainage tube, the urethral orifice and the drainage tube orifice should be disinfected first, then the water in the airbag or the gas in the airbag should be pumped out with a syringe, and then the tube should be slowly pulled out.
