What does neonatal viral hepatitis mean?

Neonatal viral hepatitis is mostly caused by mother-to-child transmission. Symptoms such as fear of cold, fever, jaundice and loss of appetite occur. Clinically, it is mainly treated with liver-protecting drugs and nutritional support therapy. If the child has symptoms of liver function damage, antiviral drugs should be prescribed.
