Can long-term urine bifurcation be cured?

Prolonged urine bifurcation in men may be treatable. The main cause of urine bifurcation in men is prostate hyperplasia, which increases the volume of the prostate and thus causes the adjacent urethra to become more narrow, causing urine to appear bifurcated during urination. Such patients need further MRI examination of the prostate to determine whether the space-occupying lesion in the prostate is benign or malignant. Benign prostate hyperplasia can be treated surgically or medically to reduce the size of the prostate, which can improve or completely cure the phenomenon of urine bifurcation. However, prostate cancer is normally incurable.
