How to check non-gonococcal urethritis

Committed to your recovery.
Nongonococcal urethritis examination methods include pathogen examination, bacterial culture, antigen detection, nucleic acid detection, etc.
1, pathogen examination
Take urethral secretions as samples, and then carry out Gram staining, through high-power microscope to find Gram-negative diplococcus.
2, bacterial culture
Take urethral secretions, inoculated in culture medium, 37℃ culture for 24 hours, observe bacterial growth, and do colony morphology identification.
3, antigen detection
using ELISA or chemiluminescence method to detect mycoplasma, chlamydia antibody in the patient's serum, if the antibody is positive, it indicates infection with mycoplasma or chlamydia.
4, nucleic acid detection
using polymerase chain reaction to detect mycoplasma, chlamydia DNA in the patient's urethral secretions, if positive, it indicates infection with mycoplasma or chlamydia.
