What disease is gross hematuria?

1. Urinary tract

infection is one of the common causes of macroscopic hematuria. Patients with urinary tract infection are continuously stimulated by inflammation, resulting in urethral mucosa ulcer and bleeding, which can be manifested as macroscopic hematuria.

2. Kidney stones

are small hard masses formed in the kidneys. Patients can cause renal tissue damage due to stone displacement, and then symptoms of macroscopic hematuria.

3. Systemic

lupus erythematosus is a connective tissue disease. Patients with inflammatory reactions in the kidneys will cause macroscopic hematuria as the disease progresses.
