How to determine if your kidney is atrophied

Kidney atrophy is mainly diagnosed by imaging examination.

Normal kidney cell tissue volume reduction or quantity reduction leads to kidney volume reduction, often accompanied by renal function decline. Normal adult kidney length and width are 10.5~11.5cm, 5~6cm, 2~3cm respectively. The size of the elderly kidney generally decreases with age, generally
