Prostate Specific Antigen 0.455 What is it?

Prostate specific antigen 0.455ng/mL may be caused by secretion of heterosexual antigen into the blood, prostate hyperplasia, prostatitis and other reasons.

1. Prostate specific antigen secreted into the blood

is a protein secreted by the prostate gland. Under normal physiological conditions, prostate specific antigen will be secreted into the blood, causing the concentration of prostate specific antigen in the blood to increase.

2. Prostate

hyperplasia is the process of prostate volume increasing, which may lead to increased secretion of prostate specific antigen, resulting in the result of prostate specific antigen 0.455ng/mL.

3. Prostatitis

When the prostate is stimulated by inflammation, the secretion of prostate specific antigen will increase, resulting in increased concentration of prostate specific antigen in the blood.
