Urological surgical classification

There are four levels of urological surgery. The first level is the most common and the lightest, circumcision, which all urologists should perform. The second is scrotal capsulotomy or orchiectomy, which can be performed by both senior and junior attendings. The third is similar to what we call ureteroscopic lithotripsy or radical nephrectomy. The fourth type of surgery was also the most difficult surgical method in urology, similar to laparoscopic radical prostatectomy and laparoscopic radical cystectomy. This type of surgery required senior associate chief physicians or chief physicians to perform.
