Causes of lower urinary tract obstruction

Lower urinary tract obstruction is mainly caused by ureteral calculi, prostate hyperplasia, prostate cancer and other reasons.

1. Ureteral

calculi occur in patients with ureteral calculi, if the stones are large and cannot be discharged from the urethra, it will cause obstruction of the bladder and ureter, resulting in lower urinary tract obstruction.

2. Prostate hyperplasia

patients suffer from prostate hyperplasia, hyperplasia of prostate tissue may oppress the urethra, affecting normal urination function, urine accumulation in the bladder, causing lower urinary tract obstruction.

3. Prostate

cancer occurs, cancer cells can continue to grow, leading to a mass in the prostate, blocking the bladder outlet and urethra, causing lower urinary tract obstruction.
