Sperm DNA fragmentation rate index is less than or equal to 15%. Sperm DNA

fragmentation rate refers to the proportion of sperm with DNA strand breaks in all sperm. Generally, the percentage of sperm with DNA damage in normal male sperm will not exceed 15%. If sperm DNA fragmentation rate is higher than 15%, male fertility may be reduced due to sperm DNA repair disorder, high temperature, inflammation, etc., which may cause damage to testis, resulting in decreased sperm quality. Therefore, sperm DNA fragmentation rate may increase. The lower the sperm DNA fragmentation rate, the more serious the DNA damage, and may lead to embryo abortion.
