The total urine output in 24 hours is about 1000-2000ml. If it exceeds 2500ml, it is considered polyuria. If it is less than 400ml, it is oliguria. If it is less than 100ml, it is anuria. Factors affecting urine output mainly depend on glomerular filtration rate, glomerular reabsorption and dilution and concentration functions. It also depends on how much water the patient ingests, such as drinking a lot of water, and inputting more fluid into the body. The urine output may be higher. Increased urine volume can be polyuria, polyuria that is more than 2500ml, can be excessive drinking water, or drinking strong tea, coffee, etc., these may be factors that cause increased urine volume. There are also pathological, such as diabetes, diabetes insipidus, which may cause increased urine volume.
