Can the HPV virus be cured?

Persistent HPV infection increases the risk of cervical cancer, so when high-risk HPV infection occurs, oral antiviral drugs such as acyclovir and ganciclovir are required to control the symptoms of viral infection. Most patients can be cured about one year after treatment.
