How long does it take to indwell a urinary bladder injury?

Guiding you towards wellness.
After bladder injury, the time of indwelling catheter is generally determined according to the degree of bladder injury. Generally speaking, the time of indwelling catheter needs 1~2 weeks. If the degree of bladder injury is light, for example, it is only a bruise of bladder mucosa and does not cause bladder rupture, then the time of indwelling catheter can be one week. If the bladder is ruptured after the bladder injury, the tear is relatively small and can be repaired by indwelling catheterization, then the indwelling catheterization time often takes more than two weeks, because only after two weeks of catheterization can the bladder tear be fully healed. In this case, after the catheter is removed, it will not cause the original wound of the bladder to rupture.
