What causes blood in urine after ticagrelor tablets

effects of ticagrelor tablets

can prevent signal transduction and platelet activation, which may lead to hematuria.

The etiology of urinary calculi is unknown, which may be caused by high concentration of calculi in urine, decrease of crystallization inhibitor in urine, obstruction of urinary calculi in bladder and upper urinary tract, etc. When the patient suffers from urinary calculi during ticagrelor tablets, and the calculi cut through urethral mucosa, it may also cause hematuria.

3. Acute glomerulonephritis

is caused by β-hemolytic streptococci infection. If the patient suffers from acute glomerulonephritis while taking ticagrelor tablets, it may cause glomerular basement membrane rupture due to inflammatory stimulation, thus causing hematuria.
