Is urology an andrology?

Urology is not andrology.

The general departments of treatment are different, and the corresponding diseases are also different. Urology can treat kidney diseases, such as nephritis, kidney stones, kidney tumors, kidney failure, etc., or treat ureteral diseases, such as ureteral stones, ureteral inflammation, etc., or treat urinary tract diseases, such as cystitis, bladder stones, bladder tumors, etc. The above diseases may be suffered from by women and men, not only men, so urology is not andrology.

Andrology mainly treats male sexual dysfunction, such as premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction and other diseases; prostate diseases, such as prostatitis, prostatic hyperplasia and other diseases.
