Proteinuria 3+ is usually the result of 24-hour urine protein quantitative examination, indicating that urine contains a certain amount of protein.
Under normal circumstances, human urine does not contain protein or only contains trace protein. 24-hour urine protein quantitative examination shows that proteinuria 3+ indicates that 1L of urine contains protein 2.0-4.0g, which is an abnormal phenomenon, usually caused by various diseases, such as glomerulonephritis, membranous nephropathy, lupus nephritis, acute tubular necrosis, hemolytic anemia, etc.
