What are the symptoms of PCP pneumonia?

Pcp pneumonia, also known as pneumocystis carinii pneumonia, is characterized by low fever and cough in the early stages, chest tightness and shortness of breath after physical activity. There are dry and moist rales on auscultation of the lungs. In severe cases, there are high fever, expectoration, difficulty breathing, and nasal flap symptoms.
