How does the heart color ultrasound work?

Cardiac color Doppler ultrasound can check heart function, heart size and whether there is any disease in the heart. During examination, the patient needs to take supine position or left lateral position first, and place the fan probe in five parts of the body to judge the reflux and shunt status, which are located at parasternal, apical, subxiphoid and suprasternal fossa respectively.
