What is spermatic cord?

Spermatic cord is a male physiological anatomical structure, refers to the inguinal canal to the upper end of the testicular cord tissue.

Spermatic cord diameter is about 0.5 cm, length is generally 11.5 cm to 15 cm. Spermatic cord includes sheath ligament, vas deferens artery, vas deferens vein, testicular artery, vas deferens and other structures. If spermatic cord injury exists, it is easy to induce testicular atrophy.
