Main organs of urinary system

The urinary system is an important excretory pathway for metabolites. It is mainly composed of a pair of kidneys, two ureters, a bladder and a urethra. It is mainly used for urine production, urine delivery, urine storage and urination. Urine is usually produced by the kidneys and flows into the bladder through the ureter. When urine is stored in the bladder to a certain extent, it can be discharged through the urethra.
