Symptoms of ketoacidosis before death

Ketoacidosis, once diagnosed, requires prompt medical attention, otherwise it is likely to lead to death. Death may be preceded by a thin pulse, increased heart rate, coma, confusion, dilated pupils and other symptoms, at which time blood pressure is usually not measured, and no aortic pulse can be felt.
