If chronic prostatitis

is caused by non-infectious factors such as bad living habits, urine stimulation, abnormal immune response or nerve damage, it is generally not contagious; but if the patient is infected by chlamydia trachomatis, mycoplasma, trichomonas, fungi, viruses, etc., it has certain infectivity. If no protective measures are taken in the same room, such as wearing condoms, pathogens may be transmitted to sexual partners through sexual contact.
