Does ovulation bleed every month?

Ovulatory bleeding is a phenomenon that every mature woman may exhibit. It usually occurs on the 12th to 16th day of a regular menstrual cycle, lasts for a few hours or three to five days, and in severe cases can last until the next menstrual cycle. Ovulatory bleeding is caused by fluctuations in hormone levels during ovulation. Ovulatory bleeding can occur continuously every month or every few months, and some people may never exhibit ovulatory bleeding.
