What should I do if a child coughs and bleeds

Cough and bleeding in children may be caused by factors such as excessive heat and bronchitis. If accompanied by symptoms of bleeding in stools, it may also be caused by upper gastrointestinal bleeding. Laryngoscopy and gastrointestinal examination should be performed. If bronchitis is diagnosed, antitussives and bronchodilators should be prescribed.
