Asymptomatic bacteriuria is defined as bacteria that can be detected in the urine of the patient, but without any symptoms.

Asymptomatic bacteriuria is mainly caused by bacteria from other tissues and organs reaching the urethra through blood, lymph channels, etc., and growing and reproducing in the urethra.
